Alignments

As you drive, you'll likely encounter potholes, bumps and uneven driving conditions. The impact of this jars your car's suspension components and makes them out of line. At Jack's Brake & Alignment, we're Davenport's leading auto repair shop for alignments. Whether you need an alignment on a passenger car or a semi, we're the go-to experts and our mechanics will perform an alignment that gets your vehicle's suspension back into proper form. This is done by making adjustments to the vehicle's tires and axles to once again align them with each other so that they can make solid contact with the road. About Alignments

Jack's Brake & Alignment Is Davenport's Go-To Alignment Expert. 4-Wheel Alignment Service.

What is an alignment?

When you take your vehicle in for an alignment with us, our technicians will adjust your vehicle’s suspension. This is what connects a vehicle to its wheels. The experts at Jack’s Brake & Alignment make sure to adjust the angles of your tires which affects how they make contact with the road.

How do I know if I need an alignment?

Some common signs of needing an alignment include:

Uneven wear of tires-

If you notice that the inside or outside of your tires are wearing faster than normal, this could be a sign that your vehicle needs an alignment.

Vehicle pulling left or right-

If you’re driving down the road and you notice your vehicle pulling more to one side of the road than the other, bring your can in for an alignment check.

Steering wheel is not centered-

Your steering wheel should always be centered. If you notice that your steering wheel is shifted towards the right or left, you might need an alignment.
